It’s looking like a beautiful day. As the sun set on a glorious day when temperatures had soared into the 30’s, we joined the queue to the entrance of the beautiful open air theatre just off the sea front at Scarborough’s North Beach.
Elbow were supported by The Magic Numbers, before the magnificent showman, Guy Garvey, took over to deliver a setlist of fourteen of their most sublime and beautiful melodies. As the night drew to a close, Elbow finished with an amazing encore of Lippy Kids and One Day like this.
Throw those curtains wide, one day like this a year will see me right…for life.
